Started in 1982, Ocean State Forklifts began in a garage in Rhode Island with about six employees, but quickly grew. By 1984, we’d moved to our current location on 22 Hollister Rd in Seekonk, MA. Today, Ocean State Forklifts is a family-owned business run by Douglas O’Brien Jr. (named after his father Douglas O’Brien Sr.) retired. Now, we have 19 employees and are one of the largest used equipment companies in the area. Whether you need to purchase, lease, or rent, Ocean State Forklifts has a large selection of new truck inventory. Our fleet of fully stocked service trucks provides both regular maintenance and repair to businesses throughout Rhode Island, Southeastern Massachusetts, and Cape Cod.
